Since I don't have any professional recording equipment, and don't have the money to buy some, I decided the only way I was going to be able to record sound was on my phone.
I downloaded an 'app' called 'Easy Voice Recorder' that allows me to record sound at 16000 Hz, which means the sound is clear and of decent quality. It also has a storage capacity of 30 minutes which I think is enough for the amount of samples I need. The app is also quite simple to use, with a basic layout and is fitting for what I want to use the app for, as I am only creating samples.
